Product Description:

  • Store opened or used insulin at safe temperatures between 18 and 26 degrees Celsius for 45 hours.
  • It has insulating properties, which preserve the temperature of insulin in hot weather and also prevent the freezing of insulin in low temperatures.
  • Practical, lightweight design for easy portability and travel.
  • To ensure proper performance of the case, it should not be kept in an environment where the temperature is higher than 37.8°C.

Follow these steps to activate the clipboard:

The period allowed to keep insulin at room temperature may vary depending on the type of insulin and the manufacturer. There are types that are allowed to be stored outside the refrigerator for 10 days, 14 days, or 28 days...so please make sure to check the instructions attached to the insulin box.

  • Remove the case from the outer casing.
  • Immerse the container in water for 5 to 12 minutes. The crystals will turn into a gelatinous resist.
  • Meanwhile, massage the case to distribute the crystals throughout the case.
  • Remove the case from the water and leave it on a towel to get rid of excess water for 15-30 minutes.
  • The case is now ready for you to put the medication inside.
  • Close the case and insert it into the enclosed envelope.
  • Unused insulin should be stored in the refrigerator whenever available to ensure longer effectiveness.
  • After 45 hours

Submerge the container again for reuse after 45 hours or less if you notice the gelatin starting to crystallize.

With continued use you will notice that the time required to immerse the case is reduced as the crystals are still in a gel consistency - the activation time is reduced to 2 to 4 minutes.

Storage:

  • In case you no longer need to use the clipboard repeatedly.
  • Remove the case from the outer packaging.
  • Put it in an open place to dry.
  • To dry completely, it may take from two to four weeks, depending on the humidity of the surrounding air.

Important Notes:

  • After activating the container, it must be kept in a place that allows air to pass through, as the cooling effectiveness depends on the evaporation of water in the air.
  • Do not store the case in an airtight container or box.
  • Move the insulin vial to the refrigerator when available.
  • Do not store the case in the refrigerator or freezer. This will damage it.
